Job summary

Nation Safe Drivers is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records in a high-volume environment. This role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, journal entries, audit support, and researching discrepancies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Experience working within a large company and managing a high volume of transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Review financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze information and prepare spreadsheet reports while verifying data accuracy.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries.
Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
Research discrepancies and resolve variances.
Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.
