Nation Safe Drivers is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records in a high-volume environment. This role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, journal entries, audit support, and researching discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience working within a large company and managing a high volume of transactions preferred.

This role is responsible for assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings, audit support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume accounting environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Review financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze information and prepare spreadsheet reports while verifying data accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries.

Education & Experience:
