Zusammenfassung

EchoStar Corporation is hiring an Early Career Staff Accountant to support monthly closes, journal entries, reconciliations, and external reporting. You will work with cross‑functional teams, leverage AI tools to automate reconciliations, and contribute to GAAP financial statements and SEC disclosures.

You will gain mentorship, onboarding, and a defined career ladder while developing skills in accounting processes, SOX control readiness, and ERP platforms across the global enterprise.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting concentration
• Eligible or actively working toward CPA licensure preferred
• Minimum 0–3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, general ledger, auditing, or corporate accounting

Aufgaben

• Own general ledger accounts and close responsibilities within your first 90 days
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities with accurate journal entries and accruals
• Prepare balance sheet and sub‑ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist in GAAP financial statements and external reporting (SEC Forms 10‑Q, 10‑K)
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, treasury, tax, and ops teams on transaction accuracy
• Support SOX 404 by maintaining audit documentation and narratives
• Leverage AI tools and automated workflows to shorten close cycles
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements across journal entries and reporting packages
