Foshee Residential is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant I to join our accounting team and support the financial operations of a portfolio of apartment communities. This hybrid role is based in Atlanta, GA with responsibilities including monthly statements, reconciliations, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting and 1+ year in multifamily or property management accounting, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• 1+ year of multifamily or property management accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience using accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Valid Driver's License

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned communities
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Complete account reconciliations with minimal variances
• Communicate proactively with team members
• Manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Kenntnisse
