Job summary

FNS, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an entry-level accountant to join our finance team. You will review expense ledgers, process journal entries, close books monthly, and prepare balance sheets and P&L reports.

Bachelor's in accounting, 0–3 years, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office are required; bilingual Korean/English desired. The base salary ranges from $54,500 to $64,500 per year plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 0–3 years accounting experience; internships considered.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting practices and controls.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual in Korean and English desirable.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; proven analytical ability.
• Proficient with MS Office; organizational and time-management skills.
• CPA or EA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm expense ledger and prepare monthly closing.
• Manage employee expense reimbursement and corporate credit card.
• Review fixed asset schedules and depreciation monthly.
• Review prepaid expense schedules and monthly expenses.
• Prepare and process journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets and P/L statements.
• Prepare annual financial statements and internal quarterly FS.
• Conduct special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Develop and enforce proper accounting practices within the dept.
• Collaborate with other departments and provide accounting guidance.
