Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP is seeking an A&A Staff Accountant to conduct day-to-day fieldwork on accounting and auditing engagements, and some tax work. The role involves performing procedures under supervision, preparing financial statements, and assisting with year-end inventory observations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, strong communication skills, and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field required.
• Proficient in use of computers and basic software applications.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel by air and vehicle.
• Overtime work required periodically throughout year.

Responsibilities

• Works on various audit, review, compilation or accounting procedures under direct supervision
• Prepares financial statements
• Prepares and reconciles account schedules as required
• Performs year-end inventory observations
• Communicates with clients regarding information needed or clarification of issues
• Actively pursue CPA certification
