Prestige Healthcare is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This hybrid role requires 50% in-office presence in the Louisville area and offers exposure to monthly closes, GAAP reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across accounting, finance, and operations.

You will prepare journal entries, maintain ledgers, perform variance analyses, and support financial reporting and process improvements while advancing your career in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (staff accountant, audit, or public accounting preferred).
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial analysis).
• Experience with general ledger systems and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes.

• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will support the accounting team in executing the monthly close process, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial analyses. This role works closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (staff accountant, audit, or public accounting preferred)
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial analysis)

• Assist with the monthly and year-end close process
