Job summary

Anticimex Carolinas is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team in the Charlotte, Mint Hill, and Matthews area. This role maintains the general ledger, supports financial reporting, and ensures timely month-end and year-end close activities with accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong accounting knowledge, excellent organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• GAAP knowledge and accrual-based accounting principles are required.
• Intermediate Excel skills with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries, including cash transactions and accruals.
• Record and reconcile daily cash activity.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reporting.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation).
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable for accurate expense coding.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable for posting payments.
