Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team in New Brighton, MN. You will support key accounting processes, close cycles, reconciliations, and financial reporting while collaborating with senior accountants and operations.

The role demands 2–4 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, analytical mindset. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with an accounting system.
• Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with multitasking.
• Strong written and verbal communication; AI/Copilot experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting records.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end/ year-end close including accruals and inventory.
• Assist with financial statements, reports, audits and schedules.
• Support reporting and analysis with the Senior Financial Accountant and VP.
