GMS Surgent is in search of qualified entry level staff accountants to join our team. You are team-oriented, motivated to succeed, and enjoys independent problem solving. We do not require 150 credit hours. Also, you have the ability to manage multiple tasks and the capacity to communicate (verbal & written). You will report to the Partner.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide client services that exceed client expectations
• Research complex tax and accounting issues, in addition to determining alternative solutions
• Become proficient in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
  
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Major – Accounting
• 4 year degree in Accounting
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local, state, multi-state, and federal tax regulations
• Stay up-to-date interpretations of the tax laws to anticipate tax opportunities
