Job summary

CCT is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Philadelphia. Reporting to the Controller, you will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, month-end close, inventory, and financial reporting. You will collaborate across the organization in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 2–5 years of related experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two to five years of related accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and monthly financial adjustments.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial data and identify unusual activity.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors in financial entries and reports.
• Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare year-end audit and tax workpapers.
