Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the CFO Organization's Accounting team in Los Angeles. You will analyze accounting treatments, record and report transactions, and optimize data flow for US GAAP reporting.

You'll prepare monthly close entries, assist with internal/external reporting, and support audits while improving processes. The role requires strong Excel, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and reconciliations for assigned areas.
• Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Perform various reconciliations and analysis of account activity.
• Identify risks, implement controls, and maintain SOX documentation.
• Support annual financial statement audits, quarterly reviews, and internal audits.
• Improve and document general processes for assigned areas.
• Support ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
