Enverus is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. The role focuses on preparing balance sheets and financial reports while ensuring the general ledger is balanced and transactions are accurately recorded.

You will collaborate with bookkeepers, auditors, and clerks to maintain accurate records and assist with monthly and annual ledger reviews. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 0–1 year of experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of GAAP and tax laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepares balance sheets and financial reports for management.
• Ensures the general ledger is balanced and transactions are recorded accurately.
• Documents day-to-day transactions and reviews ledger monthly and annually.
• Collaborates with bookkeepers, auditors, and accounting clerks.
• Monitors billing information in financial systems for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
