Job summary

StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on an outstanding Staff Accountant opportunity in Dallas, Texas. The role involves supporting the Accounting function and assisting with the monthly and quarterly close, including GL work, accruals, and reconciliations.

You will take on ad hoc projects, drive process improvements, and collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Accounting, Treasury, and other teams to ensure consistent treatment and resolve cross-entity issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP (accruals, general ledger).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and process-improvement mindset.
• Ecommerce industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting function.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close, including GL work, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Take on ad hoc projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Accounting, Treasury, and other Accounting teams to ensure consistent treatment and resolve cross-entity issues.
• Stay current on new GAAP guidance and assess its impact on consolidation and financial statements.
