Job summary

CFS in Fresno, CA is hiring a Staff Accountant to handle core accounting tasks in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support payroll and sales tax reporting, with room to grow toward senior roles.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• Sales tax reporting experience preferred.
• Month-end close experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account and bank reconciliations
• Process bi-monthly payroll
• Prepare and file sales tax reports
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Support accounts receivable functions including collections and cash applications
