Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. in Houston, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a privately held construction and equipment rental company focusing on accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The role supports month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and financial analysis using D365 F&O and ERP systems, requiring sharp Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting is required.
• D365 Software Experience is preferred.
• 2-4 years of full accounting cycle experience (AR, AP, Billings, Payroll, GL, Fixed Assets).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Setup fixed assets in D365 F&O and supporting software.
• Transfer and update fixed assets in ERP.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and quarterly.
• Manage daily cash transactions and support month-end close.
• Reconcile key accounts using Excel (V-lookups).
• Prepare ad-hoc reports related to GL, Fixed Assets, AP and Equipment Sales.
• Review and present monthly job profits and job costing.
• Maintain electronic filing system.
• Other duties as needed.
