Citco in Malvern, PA is seeking a Fund Accountant to support annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements under supervision. You will draft footnote disclosures, prepare financial highlights, and analyze statements to ensure accuracy against accounting records.

You will maintain audit schedules, compile regulatory reports such as Form PF and Form SLT, and interact with clients, regulators, and auditors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with at least 9 accounting credits.
• Internship experience in an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, or hedge role is desirable.
• Experience in a Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or similar financial institution is desirable.
• Previous financial statement preparation experience is desirable.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word is essential.

• Support regulatory reporting relationships with clients, regulators, and auditors.
• Learn and use the CFS proprietary systems.
• Maintain effective communication within Citco offices and teams.
• Develop external client contacts when needed and be responsive.
• Suggest new work methods and review with supervisor.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

Your Role

• Work under direct supervision and prepare annual, semi‑annual, and quarterly financial statements as required
• Draft financial statement footnote disclosure as required by the financial reporting standards of the fund
• Prepare financial highlight disclosures, including calculations of total returns, preparation of per share tables, expense ratio analysis, etc.
• Perform analysis of the financial statements to verify accuracy to accounting records
• Maintain audit support schedules during the year
• Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports such as Form PF, Form SLT, and others
• Contribute to strong regulatory reporting relationships through interactions with internal parties, client, regulators (SEC), and audit firm personnel
• Obtain working knowledge of the CFS proprietary systems
• Maintain effective contact/communication within members of the office and other CFS offices at various levels in the organization
• Begin to build external client contacts, when necessary, and be regularly available and responsive to their interpersonal and business needs
• Suggest methods and procedures for new work assignments and review with supervisor for input or approval
• Ability to work overtime when necessary

Qualifications

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 accounting credits
• Relevant accounting internship experience in either an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge desirable
• Experience working in a Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or other financial institution where you have gained financial products knowledge is desirable
• Previous financial statement preparation experience desirable
• Good communication skills essential
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word essential
