DAS Companies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Office. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring robust reporting across the organization.

You will contribute to budgeting, variance analysis, and process improvements, while collaborating with A/R, A/P, and other finance teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance with focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Maintain fixed assets in the fixed assets management system.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and coordinate with A/R for variances.
• Perform daily A/P check reconciliation.
• Provide backup support within the department for A/R, A/P, Freight Analyst, and Staff Accountant.
• Prepare relevant tax return filings at specified intervals.
• Process customer invoices and vendor claims for promotions.
• Assist with annual budget process.
• Maintain customer sales tax exemption forms.
• Schedule and prepare international wire payments with Purchasing and Sourcing teams.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Conduct variance analyses and financial performance evaluations.
• Participate in special projects leveraging financial expertise.
