Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized experience at GS-09/11 level with accounting analysis and error identification.
• Ability to reconcile, verify, and disseminate billing information and financial data.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts, internal audits, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review transactions to ensure accuracy and uniformity of charges.
• Provide accounting expertise and training to staff and management.
• Maintain, reconcile, audit accounts in the general ledger across assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
• Monitor trends and advise on corrective actions and program improvements.
• Process reconciliations and audits as directed by the Accounting Unit.
