The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. This hotel is part of a new development that includes 17 ski lifts, around 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with approximately 1,350 rooms, about 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" globally.

The Grand Hyatt features 436 luxury accommodations, including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units. Staff Accountant Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant is responsible for accounting administrative duties and supporting the Finance team. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounting Department and oversees specific aspects of the general ledger.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality or Accounting
• At least 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a hotel setting
• Experience with MICROS, ADP/Enterprise, Kronos, and Hyatt systems (Opera and PMS) preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to service excellence to guests, clients, and colleagues
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by the manager
