Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, seeks a Staff Accountant for our Terre Haute, Indiana office. The role involves rotating through general accounting, tax and audit tasks with some overtime during peak seasons.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA eligibility, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher is required or preferred.
• 150 credit hours preferred with eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Mansioni

• Complete basic accounting procedures: bank reconciliations, accruals, analysis, and depreciation; update schedules.
• Prepare simple tax returns efficiently within deadlines.
• Work independently and in teams on tax and/or audit engagements.
• Follow audit work papers and assist in preparing final reports.
• Record routine journal entries and prepare simple financial statements.
