Job summary

A leading machinery manufacturing company in Springfield, Missouri seeks a Staff Accountant to support Cost Accounting and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, along with 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in accounting with increasing responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for support for Cost Accounting, Sales & Operations Planning, and Financial Reporting.
• Post journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Support processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close process.
