Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to support full-cycle payables, 3-way matching, and journal entries in an office setting in Marietta, GA. You will ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and clean balance sheet reconciliations.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software is expected, with opportunities for growth and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–3 years of professional accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and with others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and business applications.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Follow safety rules and policies at all times.
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and verify material receipt before payment.
• Code invoices correctly and enter them into the system.
• Prepare weekly check runs and process checks for signing.
• Manage discounts and ensure proper taking of early payment discounts.
• Assist with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Cross-train in Accounts Receivable to cover back-up tasks when needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
