Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a Staff Accountant in Anderson, Indiana to handle day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records. A strong foundation in accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks are required to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

You will support accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• QuickBooks experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
