Taylor White is hiring a Staff Accountant to join a small, high-impact team in the Greater Cincinnati area. In-office role with local candidates only, offering broad exposure to daily cash, month-end close, reconciliations, and treasury processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to process improvements while growing professionally in a private, well-established firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation or in-progress highly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort learning new accounting and treasury software.
• Curiosity about technology, AI tools, and process improvement.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions across multiple entities and related accounts.
• Prepare recurring cash position and liquidity reports for senior team review.
• Coordinate wires, transfers, and funding requests with banking partners.
• Track short-term lending activity and related interest, balances, and repayment schedules.
• Record and code day-to-day transactions in the general ledger.
• Organize and maintain supporting documentation for audit readiness.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities under senior staff guidance.
• Track capital call notices and distributions tied to private investments.
• Coordinate inter-entity funding movements and maintain transfer records.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline recurring processes.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support to accounting and investment teams.
