Job summary

Learfield IMG College in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Seating and Ticketing groups with month-end close, reconciliations, and accounting analyses. You will process AP invoices, maintain GL accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The role requires 1+ years of accounting experience, a solid grounding in U.S.

GAAP, and proficient Excel. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Dynamics GP experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or related financial experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and theory.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research accounting issues.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting or financial systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process seating capital expenditure invoices and coordinate with AP for proper GL coding.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts associated with the Seating business.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations for assigned GL accounts.
• Research discrepancies and post adjusting journal entries.
• Perform month-end close activities for Seating and Ticketing groups.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve inquiries.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support audit activities.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support external auditors with requested information.
