Job summary

Learfield is seeking a Staff Accountant in Winston-Salem, NC to support seating CapEx invoicing, bank reconciliations, and month-end close across Seating and Ticketing. You will prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, and assist internal teams and external auditors with financial questions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1+ year of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or related financial experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process CapEx invoices and ensure proper GL coding.
• Reconcile bank accounts for Seating.
• Prepare reconciliations for assigned GL accounts.
• Research discrepancies and post adjusting journal entries.
• Perform month-end close activities for Seating and Ticketing.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze account activity.
• Assist with external audits and provide documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records.
