Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting, finance or related field.
• Two+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of accounting procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for County Farm Bureaus.
• Be a helpful accounting contact and build positive working relationships with county leaders and coordinators.
• Keep accounting records, journal entries, and classifications accurate and aligned with standards.
• Assist with budgeting and understanding financial information.
• Support day-to-day accounting activities, including transaction entry, bank reconciliations, and month-end processing.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee payroll record maintenance.
• Provide annual reporting assistance for County Farm Bureaus.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Help answer accounting questions and suggest practical solutions.
• Provide backup support for accounting functions as needed.
• Perform other related duties and projects.
