Pacific Coast Supply, LLC, a longtime distributor of building products, seeks a Staff Accountant for its North Highlands, CA location. Under the Senior Staff Accountant, you will handle branch accounting, financial statements, and budgeting with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

You will perform loss prevention reviews, support GAAP adherence, and work with Excel, Word, and SAP. The role offers development opportunities and a pathway to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; resolves issues and suggests improvements.
• Strong verbal, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare branch financials including G&A, balance sheet items and budgeting.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits for loss prevention and policy compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of financial statement specs, GL structures and summary accounts.
