Job summary

Fortior Solutions, LLC, in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Staff Accountant to support AP, AR, reconciliations, cash management, and the general ledger. This hybrid, full-time role partners with the Controller and Director of Finance to maintain accurate financial records and timely month-end close.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, at least two years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Epicor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and apply payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and bank activity.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with audits and internal controls improvements.
• Monitor receivables and cash management.
• Maintain vendor records and W-9 collection.
• Review contract terms related to billing and payments.
• Provide clear receivable status updates to management.
