Job summary

LHH is partnering with a services company in Arlington, TX to recruit an experienced Staff Accountant. The role offers exposure to the entire accounting cycle and collaboration with global regions in an international company, with a hybrid schedule and flexible work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of GAAP experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Public accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in a GAAP environment.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger journal entries.
• Process month-end entries, eliminations, and allocations.
• Prepare, document, and analyze balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop accounting procedures by analyzing existing processes and recommending changes.
• Provide accounting support and collaborate with departments across the organization.
• Collaborate with management to ensure GAAP and statutory accounting compliance.
• Assist in internal control documentation, monitoring, and review.
• Prepare monthly intercompany entries with corporate entities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing general ledger journal entries.

Job Requirements:
