Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a large services company in Arlington, TX to recruit an experienced Staff Accountant. This role provides extensive exposure to the entire accounting cycle and collaboration with global regions in an international company.

This position pays $80,000–$85,000 per year and features a flexible, hybrid schedule that supports work-life balance. You will be responsible for preparing general ledger entries, month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounting experience in a GAAP environment.
• Public accounting exposure is desirable but not required.
• Proactive with ability to identify problems and discrepancies, conduct independent research and analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing general ledger journal entries.
• Processing month-end entries, eliminations, and allocations.
• Preparing, documenting, and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Developing and implementing accounting procedures through analysis of existing processes and recommending changes.
• Offering accounting support and engaging with departments across the organization.
• Collaborating with management to ensure GAAP and statutory accounting principles compliance.
• Assisting in internal control documentation, monitoring, and review.
• Preparing monthly intercompany entries with corporate entities.

Job Requirements:
