Starwood Hotels in New York is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Finance and Accounting team in managing AR, EOM entries, and P&L closings. You will perform daily audit checks, petty cash handling, and adjustment reports, and you’ll distribute the Cash Over/Short reports while balancing credit card ledgers.

The role requires attention to detail and a collaborative approach to safeguard assets in a 24-hour operation.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar function.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Willingness to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee AR, EOM entries, and P&L closings.
• Perform audit checks, petty cash, and adjustment reports daily.
• Distribute Cash Over/Short reports and balance credit card ledgers.
• Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash from outlets and Front Desk.
• Assist with invoice processing and matching POs to invoices.
