Sierra Peaks Corp. is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Albuquerque, NM team in a full-time on-site role. The position offers learning opportunities across AP, AR, payroll, job costing, WIP, and tax preparation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a methodical, proactive approach to meet multiple deadlines from several teams. This role requires on-site work with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen, be drug free and able to pass a drug screening test.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP, AR, Payroll, Job Costing, WIP, Manufacturing, 941, 940, State Taxes, W2, and 1099 Prep.
