RethinkFirst in the United States is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role supports day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting in a remote-friendly environment.

You'll perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, investigate discrepancies, assist audits, and help ensure GAAP compliance while collaborating with senior management to deliver timely insights.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP system like Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently on deliverables to achieve accurate results.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and maintain excellent communication regarding deliverables.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and others within the Company.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
