Job summary

AdventHealth seeks an accounting professional to support day-to-day operations, including ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and payroll/AP tasks. This onsite/hybrid role requires strong Excel skills and attention to detail in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include closing ledgers, regulatory reporting prep, and assisting with audits. The position emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with management to meet internal deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent organizational skills.
• [Preferred] Ability to perform complex mathematical and accounting processes.
• [Required] Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• [Required] Using spreadsheets; analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• [Required] Good verbal and written communication skills.
• [Required] Also requires experience with General Ledger
• [Required] Work, generally is repetitive but new situations, requiring mature judgment arises. Good judgment is required.
• [Required] Additional knowledge in an accounting specialization such as Healthcare preferred.

• Assists Senior Accountants with capital inventories, mid-year and year-end audits, cost reports, and corporate checklists.
• Supports Senior Accountants with inter-facility and department allocations, billing, and reconciling.
• Other duties as assigned.
