Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems like Intacct/NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition for contracts, subscriptions, and fees.
• Validate daily billing, unbilled and deferred revenue balances.
• Review contracts, process credits, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager and billing teams on transactions.
• Gather docs for audits and respond to auditor requests.

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in revenue operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. You will apply US GAAP revenue recognition principles to customer contracts, software subscriptions, and implementation fees. Working closely with accounting and billing teams, you will help maintain accurate financial records, resolve discrepancies, and support audit readiness. Accountabilities

As a Staff Accountant, you will help ensure accurate revenue reporting, reliable reconciliations, and efficient accounting operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to customer contracts, software subscriptions, and implementation fees.
• Validate daily customer billing, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue balances.
• Review sales contracts, process credit memos, and resolve billing discrepancies with customers.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses related to deferred revenue and accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and billing teams to investigate transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Gather documentation, prepare supporting schedules, and respond to external auditors' requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Meet month-end close deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Solid analytical skills and technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, or Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently, contribute hands-on, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
