Job summary

Rehmann is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Client Accounting and Advisory Services team. This role may be based near any of our Michigan or Florida office locations.

You will reconcile client bank statements, prepare journal entries, update depreciation and amortization schedules, and assist with payroll and cash disbursements while maintaining clients' accounting software and files. A CPA path is encouraged and opportunities for growth are strong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Progress towards the CPA exam or commitment to pursue.
• 2–5 years in handling the accounting duties described above.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks Online.
• Ability to read financial statements and discuss with a client.
• Outstanding client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and integrity.
