Job summary

Mad Mobile in Tampa, FL is adding a Staff Accountant to strengthen our finance team. You will own financial processes, define accounting policies, and help deliver accurate statements and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

• Own: Take ownership of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Define: Clearly define and implement accounting policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop: Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes.
• Deliver: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Communicate: Effectively communicate financial information to internal stakeholders and contribute to decision‑making processes.

Location: 5 days in-office, Tampa, FL

In this role, you will:

• Own: Take ownership of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is a plus.
