AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks an accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations and monthly close processes. The role involves reconciliations, journal entries, and collaboration with Accounts Payable and Payroll to ensure accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong Excel and general ledger skills.

Reconciles detail subsidiary ledger records. Provides day-to-day operational support as needed. Processes all direct deposit requests. Assists Accounts Payable and Payroll in researching cash reconciliation items with the reconciliation team. Organizes and prepares journal entries, miscellaneous cash entries, and reclassification entries for review. Assists with closing ledgers, including preparing and posting accruals and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Researches questions from management teams relating to monthly responsibility reports and makes necessary reclassification entries. Ensures that monthly regulatory, corporate, and internal deadlines are achieved in collaboration with management. Prepares, proofs, assembles, and organizes financial statements. Assists Senior Accountants with capital inventories, mid-year and year-end audits, cost reports, and corporate checklists. Supports Senior Accountants with inter-facility and department allocations, billing, and reconciling. Other duties as assigned.
