  • Participate in month-end close and journal entries for areas of responsibility.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist in audit preparation and provide support to auditors.

This position is responsible for processing accounts payable (AP) invoices, operational accounting, month-end close activities, including recording journal entries and performing reconciliations. Knowledge And Skill Requirements
  • BS in Accounting/Business with three years of related accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to quickly learn accounting software
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and detail & organization skills required
  • Able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks & work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent technical, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Compensation And Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is National $94,000 to $110,000 and, Premium Market (SFBA/NYC/Boston Area) $100,000 to $122,000. The actual salary offered will depend on several factors, including experience, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.

This position is eligible to participate in Rigel's annual bonus program and is eligible for equity incentive awards, subject to the terms of the applicable plans. This position is not commission-based.
