You will partner with finance and operations leadership, support audits, and contribute to regulatory reporting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of grant or government accounting experience are required, with proficiency in PeopleSoft

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 2–4 years of grant or government accounting experience; higher education experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with capital asset accounting and PeopleSoft ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage federal grant accounting processes, including contract review, reconciliations, journal entries, purchase orders, budget transfers, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with financial aid and grant teams to ensure expenditures and reporting follow federal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee capital asset accounting, including construction-related tracking, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Review and approve financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support audits, reporting requirements, and cross-functional initiatives.
