Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- in Sacramento seeks a Staff Accountant to support the nonprofit's finance team. You will oversee monthly and year-end closes, prepare journal entries, reconcile the general ledger, and assist with audits.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 3–5 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, nonprofit background preferred, and advanced QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.

About the Role

A mission-driven nonprofit in Sacramento is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join its Finance team. This position is responsible for a range of accounting duties, including overseeing monthly and year-end closes, maintaining internal controls, supporting audit processes, and supervising junior accounting staff.
