Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, MN, is seeking a financial professional with a background in accounting and healthcare finance. The role focuses on monthly close, reporting, budgeting support, and finance process improvements to support hospital operations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2–3 years of healthcare experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare accounting concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Two to three years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of healthcare business and accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and enters monthly adjusting and closing entries.
• Assists with compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including Hospital Annual Report, annual governmental surveys, and other various reports as needed.
• Assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of Finance procedures.
• Assists with the annual budget process.
• Provides financial support to management.
• Attends education and training seminars and meetings.
• Assists with monthly bank reconciliation.
• Assists with Accounts Payable processing.
• Assists with Fixed Asset System and prepares monthly fixed asset reconciliation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay - $27.66 to $41.48 (based on experience)
