Job description

Our client, a leader in the biotech space, located by Princeton NJ is currently adding a Staff Accountant to their team. This role is open due to growth and is a Hybrid Schedule, 2-days in-office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for general ledger work ( reconciliations ), records,and financial reports.
• Perform components of the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, bank reconciliations, and account and financial statement analysis.
• Preparation and analysis of budgets, expenses, revenues, and sales.
• Manage billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage customer and vendor inquiries as they relate to our financial bookkeeping.
• Collections as they relate to accounts receivable
• Supports the finance team on daily activities within the department
• Support other departments and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
2. 1+ yrs of accounting experience garnered in a previous position or through participation in an internship program. Public Accounting a plus
3. Developed Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
4. Netsuite Expertise preferred
