Job summary

Global CNC Industries, a leading US manufacturer, is seeking a detail oriented Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes accuracy in month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance.

The successful candidate will manage general ledger activities, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting, contributing to audits and internal controls in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Respond to requests for financial data and documentation.
• Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
