LHH is partnering with a client in Midtown Manhattan for a Staff Accountant. The role will be responsible for producing monthly financial statements, preparing monthly closings for separate consolidating entities, and reviewing monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure both systems have properly transferred to the general ledger.

This position is on-site in the office 5 days/week and requires previous Not For Profit accounting experience.

Qualificações

• 2-5 years of experience within a not for profit environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.
• Team player with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparation of the month end close.
• Manage fixed asset depreciations reports.
• Be a key player in annual budget and monthly variance analysis.
• Prepare journal entries and financial statement reports.
• Assess, document, and record the accounting impact of transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare the monthly cash flow analysis.
• Interact with external and internal auditors.
• Ad hoc projects and reporting.
