STgenetics® is a multi-site, international bovine genetics technology company seeking a Staff Accountant in Texas. The role supports the general ledger, revenue management, cost accounting, monthly variance analyses, and cash management controls.

The team works across multiple sites and requires accuracy and strong analytical skills. The position involves journal entries, reconciliations, inventory and fixed assets analysis, and collaboration with business units to ensure financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2-4 years’ experience in accounting in publicly traded company preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with a sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Experience performing physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Support various accounting groups as necessary including, cost, inventory, general ledger, cash management, fixed assets, etc.
• Perform cash management and revenue accounting tasks and analyses across multiple international manufacturing sites.
• Process month end statements.
• Perform and enter journal entries as part of the period-end close functions.
• Perform various GL reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyze financial information by developing templates.
• Advise and work with Business Units concerning procedures, financial information and adjustments to GL.
• Identify reconciling items and prepare adjustments.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting various corporate accounting functions for a multi-site, international bovine genetics technology company. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the position will support the general ledger team, standard revenue management, cost accounting, perform monthly variance calculations, inventory and depreciation analysis and maintain and test appropriate cash management accounting controls and policies.
