Job summary

Andaz Napa, a Hyatt Hotels property, is seeking a Staff Accountant to keep our hotel's financial operations accurate. You will review daily revenue, reconcile accounts across rooms, F&B and events, support accounts payable and receivable, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end close and reporting.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting/finance, at least one year of experience, and proficiency with spreadsheets and hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting/finance or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of accounting/finance experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and accounting/financial systems; hotel systems experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize around deadlines.
• Clear communication, discretion with confidential information, and collaboration.
• Flexibility to support month-end close and operational needs.

The hourly rate for this Staff Accountant position is $25-$29, plus FREE Medical, Dental and Vision.

The Staff Accountant helps keep the hotel’s financial operations accurate and running smoothly. Responsibilities include reviewing daily revenue, reconciling accounts across rooms, food and beverage, and events, supporting accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close and financial reporting.

The Staff Accountant partners with colleagues across the hotel to investigate variances, resolve billing questions, maintain clear financial records, and support sound business decisions. Qualifications

• An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• At least one year of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and accounting or financial systems; hotel systems experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize work around recurring deadlines.
• Clear communication, sound judgment with confidential information, and a collaborative approach.
• Flexibility to support month-end close and occasional operational needs.
