AEVEX Aerospace Staff Accountant in California performs a wide range of accounting activities and financial analysis, including month-end close, reporting and various reconciliations.
The role requires GAAP knowledge and 3 years of full-cycle accounting, with government contracting or defense industry ERP experience (Unanet/Deltek). Strong analytical, communication and detail-oriented skills are essential for accuracy and policy adherence.
Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices, our Staff Accountant performs a wide range of accounting activities and financial analysis including month end activities, reporting and various reconciliations.

Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices. Education / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline required. Experience 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience with emphasis on General Ledger Government Contracting or defense industry experience a plus. Unanet, Deltek or other ERP systems experience required. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required. BlackLine software experience a plus.
The Company provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only. Salary Range $80,000 — $100,000 USD.
